Accreditation and Certification

If your organization is receiving or desires to receive Medicaid and/or Medicare reimbursement, your organization must be accredited or certified according to Ohio law. Accrediting or certifying entities can include:

Joint Commission on Accreditation

• Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities

As a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S), Butler Consulting President, Linda G. Butler, is experienced in successfully offering consultation with accrediting numerous organizations. Linda has experienced accreditation not only as a consultant, but also as a CEO/Executive Director. Her expertise as a social worker, consultant, therapist, executive director and teacher elevates her abilities to assist agencies to successfully complete their accreditation process.

In 2006 and 2010, Linda assisted Nova House (now Nova Behavioral Health) in Dayton, Ohio in successfully completing and acquiring CARF accreditation. “Linda was helpful, instructive and instrumental in leading our team throughout the CARF process’, stated Nova House’s Executive Director, Saundra Jenkins.

In 2013, Linda assisted The Woodlands in Newark, Ohio in completing COA accreditation.
